Select Deposit in the bottom bar. Choose the account you want to use for your deposit. Enter the amount of your check. Sign the back of your check and write “For Mobile Deposit at Wells Fargo Bank Only” below your signature (or if available, check the box that reads: “Check here if mobile deposit”). Deposits made using mobile check deposit are subject to the Digital Services Agreement and may not be available for immediate withdrawal. In some cases it may take more than one business day for funds to be available. See the Digital Services Agreement for details regarding the mobile check deposit funds availability policy. Here's a quick breakdown on how to deposit a cheque online using your mobile device on the TD app: 1. Go to the Deposit page 2. Register for Mobile Deposit 3. Enter deposit information 4. Capture cheque images 5. Review and finish. The ‘Deposit History’ tab is a good place to view cheques paid in previously. If a cheque is rejected please do not try to pay it in with the app again – the reason for rejection will be shown in ‘Deposit History’.

1. Open up the Capital One® mobile app

   Sign in and tap your checking or savings account.

2. Make a Deposit

   Select the Deposit icon.

3. Snap a picture of your check (front & back)

   Show it a little love with good lighting, a dark background, and a view of all 4 corners. Flip over to the back, make sure you’ve signed the check before taking a picture.

4. Give us the details of your deposit

   Enter the check amount and add a short memo if you'd like.

5. That’s it — wrap it up.

   Give everything one last glance and swipe the Slide To Deposit button to confirm.

Your check will show as pending right away — and as long as it's received before 9 p.m. ET on a business day, it should post the same day. Plus, we take extra steps to make sure you get the latest updates.

Mobile deposited funds are available on the day after the deposit credit date, unless a hold is applied. If a hold is required on the check, you’ll receive a message during the deposit, and you’ll be able to cancel the deposit. If you continue and submit your mobile deposit, you’ll receive information about the hold on the confirmation screen and in the email sent to your primary email address and secure inbox.

For example, if you make a deposit before the cut-off time on a Monday, funds are generally available on Tuesday. If you make a deposit after the cut-off time on a Friday, funds are typically available on the following Tuesday. Business days are Monday through Friday except Federal holidays. The deposit credit date is provided on your mobile deposit confirmation screen and in the email we send you when your transaction is complete.
